Twitter could restrict access to the “Sputnik V” account due to American hackers

The social network suspended access to the vaccine account due to a possible hack from Virginia.

Twitter could restrict access to the Sputnik V account due to a possible attack by American hackers. This is stated in a message in the official account of the vaccine in the social network.

On January 14, Twitter said that this decision was made due to a possible hacking of an account from the US state of Virginia.

“Twitter has restored access to the account and explained that it has restricted access due to a possible hack from Virginia, USA,” the message reads.

The suspension of access to the page of the Russian vaccine from COVID-19 became known around 20: 30 on Thursday, January 15. The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) began to understand the reasons for the incident and urged subscribers to contact Twitter to return access to the account of the Russian vaccine. After some time, the administration of the account again got access to the management of the page.
