Earlier, users complained about problems with access to the portals of the government, the State Duma and a number of other state institutions.
Problems with access to a number of government websites are associated with failures in the operation of equipment used by the operator “Rostelecom”. This is reported by Interfax with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Finance.
“Problems with access to a number of government and other sites are related to failures in the operation of routers used in the network of PJSC Rostelecom. The company is taking the necessary measures to restore the network’s operability, ” the agency quoted the agency as saying.
The Ministry of Finance separately clarified that temporary problems with the availability of state sites are not related to the actions of Roskomnadzor, which has begun to limit the speed of Twitter.
Earlier, Roskomnadzor limited the speed of Twitter in Russia to 100% of mobile devices and 50% of stationary ones. This measure was taken after the platform ignored the agency’s demand to remove illegal content.
After that, users began to complain about problems with access to a number of state sites: in particular, the government, the president, the State Duma, and Roskomnadzor itself. At the moment, the websites of the Kremlin, the State Duma, the Federation Council and the Russian government have already resumed work.
Political scientist Alexander Asafov said that ordinary Twitter users will not feel the decrease in the speed of the application. However, the owners of the site will be forced to draw the right conclusions.
