Samsung has introduced the One UI Watch operating system for wearable devices, developed jointly with Google

It is based on Wear OS and will replace Tizen.

At the mobile technology exhibition MWC 2021, which takes place in Barcelona, Samsung announced the One UI Watch platform, developed together with Google.
The new interface is designed to link a smartphone with a smart watch or other wearable devices. To do this, the developers have significantly increased the performance and ensured the smoothness of the components.
The key innovation was access to applications from Google Play. When installed on a smartphone, they will automatically load on the “smart” watch.
Many applications from the field of fitness, health, sports and music are optimized for the OS, and the Google Maps service has already received extended integration.
Synchronization also occurs in other components of the interface. For example, if you have configured the time display on the phone in different time zones, it will be displayed in the same way on the watch. If you add contacts to the blacklist, they will also be blocked on the smartphone.
Developers and designers were also provided with improved tools for the design of dials.
Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 4 will be the first device based on One UI Watch — the watch will be shown at the Unpacked event in August 2021.
