Lost yourself: why LG has always remained in the shadow of Samsung in the smartphone market, although sometimes it produced good devices

The CNET publication told the story of LG’s phone business.

In April, LG announced that it would leave the smartphone market and focus on the production of components for electric cars, smart homes, robots, as well as the development of AI and business solutions.
Since 2016, LG has lost $4.5 billion in the smartphone business and has not found a buyer for it. Its devices didn’t become iconic like the iPhone, and the company couldn’t fight Samsung’s marketing power, CNET explains.
