NxtWear G glasses were first shown at CES, and they will go on sale in July, first in Australia, and then in other countries, writes The Verge. The cost is 899 Australian dollars.
TCL stressed that this is not an augmented reality headset, but an external display. The glasses have two built-in Micro-OLED displays with a resolution of 1080p — the user perceives them as a 140-inch screen with an aspect ratio of 16:9.
The device is compatible with smartphones, tablets and computers that support image output via USB Type-C.
Stereo speakers are also built into the arms of the glasses, but TCL recommends using headphones.
