Caleta de Fuste in Fuerteventura was mainly designed to serve as a tourist destination, and the region boasts of round the year sunshine with almost no rainfall, making it an ideal destination to soak up the sun.
Caleta de Fuste’s large beach is made up of golden sand that was specially bought into the region for this very purpose, and unlike many other man made beaches this one has remained intact over time.

Taxis in Caleta aren’t many in number but that isn’t seen as a problem by most visitors as one can be found in a matter of minutes. Besides, getting to Puerto Del Rosario takes about 20 minutes if you choose to travel by bus.
Caleta has seen a fair amount of growth in the last 2-3 years and besides the many hotels and holiday homes, the region also has two excellent 18 hole golf courses now.
